Terms & Conditions for Pinefest 2025

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the purchase of tickets for Pinefest, organised by Pinewood School Ltd (“Organiser”). By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Ticket Purchase and Use

1.1. Tickets must be purchased through authorised channels only.

1.2. Each ticket admits one person and is non-transferable.

1.3. Entry is only permitted with a valid ticket.

1.4. All attendees, including children, must hold a valid ticket. Entry will not be permitted to those outside of the Pinewood community who have not been invited to attend this event.

1.5. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission.

1.6 Any proceeds left on conclusion of the event will be used for the sole benefit of the School's Development Fund.

Age Restrictions

2.1. Attendees under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

2.2. Proof of age may be required for certain activities or areas of the Festival.

Behaviour and Safety

3.1. Attendees must follow instructions from Festival staff and respect all safety protocols.

3.2. The Organiser reserves the right to remove anyone engaging in disruptive, abusive, or illegal behaviour.

3.3. Alcohol may not be consumed by attendees under the age of 18. ID checks will be conducted.

3.4 Dogs are not permitted on site during the festival.

3.5 During the event all children under the age of 16 are the responsibility of their parents or a nominated adult.

Cancellation Policy

4.1. By the Ticket Holder:

Refunds are available up until 1st May 2025. Cancellations made thereafter will not be eligible for a refund. All refund requests must be made in writing to office@pinewoodschool.co.uk.​ In the event of an inadvertent ticket purchase from someone outside the invited category:

  • A refund may be issued at the Organiser’s discretion, minus reasonable administration costs.

4.2. By the Organiser:

The Organiser reserves the right to cancel the Festival or any part of it due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to severe weather, safety concerns, or government restrictions. In the event of cancellation:

  • A refund may be issued at the Organiser’s discretion, minus reasonable administration costs.

  • No liability will be accepted for other costs incurred by the ticket holder (e.g. travel or accommodation).

Weather

5.1. The Festival will proceed in most weather conditions. Attendees should dress accordingly.

5.2. In the event of extreme weather that poses a risk to safety, the Organiser may cancel the event, as detailed in the cancellation policy.

Liability

6.1. The Organiser will not be held responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to property, except in cases of proven negligence.

6.2. Attendees participate in all activities at their own risk.

Photography & Filming

7.1. The Festival may be filmed or photographed for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of your image for such purposes.

7.2. Attendees wishing to take photographs or film must respect the privacy and enjoyment of others.

Accessibility

8.1. The Organiser aims to provide an accessible event. Please contact office@pinewoodschool.co.uk. for any specific requirements.

Prohibited Items

9.1. The following items are not permitted at the Festival:

  • Illegal substances

  • Weapons

  • Any other items deemed unsafe by Festival staff

Amendments to Terms

10.1. The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
